Hello! I’m Alicia Nickolenko, the Founder & CEO of ApexxAscent. At ApexxAscent, we specialize in business development services, elevating businesses through innovative sales, marketing, and growth strategies. We support businesses with market expansion, forging strategic partnerships, and negotiating and closing substantial contracts.

How did I get here? My professional journey began at Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global leader in the life science industry, and continued at LGC Biosearch Technologies and Meridian Bioscience, where I developed expertise in business development and contract negotiations across biotechnology, healthcare, and diagnostics. My dedication enabled companies to commercialize cutting-edge technologies globally, including cancer and COVID-19 diagnostic tests. I have a proven track record of successfully closing significant business-to-business (B2B) deals, including those valued over $1 million, contributing to a healthier, cleaner, and safer world.

Beyond my corporate endeavors, I have an extensive background in science with a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry from Wesleyan University, complemented by my research experience at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg, Germany. 

An athlete at heart, I played competitive ice hockey for Wesleyan University and am now an avid surfer and scuba diver, deeply passionate about the ocean and outdoor adventures. This passion drives my commitment to collaborating with brands in the surfing, outdoor adventure, and ocean conservation sectors. I am excited to leverage my business development skills to further promote and expand these fields, continuing to spread the stoke for surf and adventure while positively impacting our planet.
